MEV Protection

The basics

Sonic MEV protection is a system that allows you to protect your snipes from MEV's without the speed impact commonly found with private transactions. Our MEV protected transaction are public transactions that hit the mempool unlike traditional protection systems.

When using MEV protection you will need an extra wallet with funds on it to post what we call a "setup" transaction. This wallet only needs enough ETH to cover gas fees so a smaller amount in the region of 0.05-0.1 will be enough, just remember to regularly keep it topped up.

Good to know: If you're buying 2 wallets with MEV protection enabled you will need to select 3 wallets, the final wallet selected - marked SETUP on the wallet selector - will be the wallet which does not buy any tokens.
