Manual Buys

Good to know: Manual buys are a service we provide that acts as a replacement for Dex's such as Uniswap and Sushiswap. You can trade on any router via the Sonic Manual buy functionality. You only ever need to hold Eth to trade using Sonic, we will automatically bridge your eth to the required pair when buying tokens.

Buying tokens

  1. Enter the desired contract address into the contract address field. Once entered out system will automatically find the correct router and pair for you. Please double check these fields are correct.

  2. Choose your desired slippage, Sonic allows for up to 100% slippage so please be mindful of Sandwich attacks.

  3. Input the amount of Ethereum you would like to spend, or input a token amount you would like to buy. In same cases after a contract address is entered buttons may appear below the token amount field. Clicking these buttons will automatically populate the token amount field with the max transaction amount or the max wallet amount.

  4. Chose your gas settings. As default the gas in these inputs automatically update to keep in line with the required gas settings for next block inclusion on your transaction. If you wish to change these you must click one of the two red padlock icons. This will tell our system to no longer update these values automatically and grant access to change the values in the input fields.

  5. Select the wallets you wish to make the purchase from. Sonic supports buying from multiple wallets at once, so every wallet you select will perform the same transaction. Be mindful of your slippage if using more than one wallet as the value of the amount of tokens you receive will change after each of your transactions are successful.

  6. Click the buy button and watch the live transaction feed on the right hand side or directly below if on mobile. Once your transaction has confirmed you may navigate to the dashboard to find a new Execute has been created for you to manage these tokens. On this execute page you can sell your tokens directly via Sonic.
