Backrun Transactions
The basics
Since the merge frontrunning trigger transactions has been more common, resulting in many missed opportunities. Backrun transcations is a system where we will post your buy transaction x amount of times so that in the event some frontrun the trigger you still have several opportunities.
Good to know: Our system only allows for one buy transaction to be successful so there's no risk that you may end up buying several times.
When creating an execute you will see a new field called "backrun transactions" - this defaults to 1 meaning that only 1 buy transaction will be posted, you can set this as high as you want but obviously be mindful of the gas costs. Somewhere between 1-5 is the sweet spot. As this does result in more transactions being posted there is higher gas costs involved with using it however the gas paid on the failed transactions is small - in the region of $0.50-$1 depending on gas at the time.
Good to know: Do not use this feature when buying a contract with dead blocks or any other type of delay, it is not necessary since there's no opportunity to frontrun.
